In learning about shapes, I've found it easier to relate the shapes we draw to the shapes we find in nature. Every shape exists in perfect form somewhere in your backyard....
Yesterday, we talked about OVALS, the shape that looks like a stretched circle. And we built our own insect friends from circles and ovals snipped from magazines.
Of course, I built bugs alongside the kids...
